pXent_setiterations (
entity, var iteration )
The
solver iteration count determines how accurately joints and contacts
are resolved. The solver iteration count defaults to 4, but may be
set individually for each body.
Parameters:
entity |
registered Entity pointer (Actor) |
iteration |
solver iteration count. Range:[1,255]. |
Returns:
1
if successful, 0
otherwise.
Remarks:
- If
you are having trouble with jointed bodies oscillating and behaving
erratically, then setting a higher solver iteration count may
improve their stability.
- Don't
set
the iteration
to high or you lose performance! Set it only if it's really
necessary!
